Digibytes Kills Off Gaming Aspirations - What's Next?

in #gaming7 years ago (edited)

Has the Digibyte team made the right decision? Recently on Telegram, Jared Tate and company decided to take Digibyte gaming back behind the ole family shed and put it out of its misery.

After handing out over 40 mil in Digibytes through the Digibytes Gaming system, the team has decided it just isn't a sustainable project. Instead, they seem to be focusing on Digusign and other "less casual" projects.

What are your thoughts on this? Is it too much to expect a cryptocurrency team to manage a gaming reward system? Should gaming companies be expected to handle this aspect of cryptocurrency in the future? Or should Digibytes simply step up efforts and continue to work on their gaming reward system?

Word is also, apparently, that Digibyte Gaming really didn't have as many users as we were originally led to believe. Have you tried it?

Please let me know. As a Digibyte investor, I'd love to hear from you.

Thank you!!

Dang this is bad news for investors. I really thought thay they were going to be a good competitor with GameCredits but after this I very much doubt that. I just hope they have a much better use for Digibyte if it's not gaming.

Ahhhh Digibyte... many many many people including myself are still hoping that they will do extremely well. It looked so promising. But what have they actually done lately?

Yes they're working on Digusign but that's kind of all I know... it seems like they as well concluded it isn't going so well so they killed their gaming project... not a good sign I reckon!

I had high hopes for Digi but seeing this post has confirmed in my mind that its a goner! Thanks for the info. Good post followed!
