Capricorn: Purpose (Again!)

That's the word! PERFECT for describing Capricorn/Saturn/10th house energy.

Yes, this one IS kindof a double post! Maybe the message is worth repeating? I added something different at the end of this one though... it changes it I think.

My Facebook astrologer, Gaia Blooming, posted this yesterday. I'm just passing it along, along with my recent view into Pluto and Saturn retrogrades and Chiron in Aries. Also Uranus moving into Taurus next month. Trying to keep track of the whole picture.

"Saturn and Pluto in Retrograde in CAPRICORN:
I was wondering what the delay was in me posting about Saturn retrograde and then I realized it was the waiting for Pluto to go retrograde...

These 2 players pack a powerful punch... Let me remind you that retrograde pulls our focus back deeper into ourselves for the lessons - and the highest lesson of Capricorn is that of purpose and responsibility (response ability).

Saturn in Capricorn (check out the original video from the shift in December) is making us all step up and take responsibility for where we are at in our lives. Saturn's main focus in teaching is the reminder that we all come with purpose/mission - and our soul longing/duty is to fulfill that energy. However, there is a side energy of Capricorn and that is to look good in the world/society... and often that can distract us and pull us off the path of that said soul mission. Soul missions don't necessarily come in neat lil packages that look normal to society... and with Pluto in Capricorn.. more and more we are having to break through (burn through) those neat lil packages into the soul truth that ultimately will help us and the world grow.

Along with this energy comes another energy we have to work through in order to fully step into the purpose. This is the energy of the savior or messiah... How many of us have come in thinking we are going to save the world? There are many superheros out there among us ;) however... this can also become something that we do, that takes our focus, attention and response ability away from purpose mission. You are not here to save the entire world. The universe did not put earth on your shoulders and say here.. "fix everything that is messed up in this world." But MANY of us feel the weight of that responsibility. It is time to let go of the importance of feeling like you have to save the world and take on the (sometimes more scary) energy of you, your truth, to fully engage your purpose. If everyone was to do this... the world would be in a very different place :) There is a reason that Sagittarius comes before Capricorn... so we can get a taste of that truth energy so that maybe we can maintain it and realize it's importance in the state of things!

Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn also is working us through this... but it brings a different energy to the mix. That is the energy of power and empowerment. Many of us will subdue our own light/power to fit in with society and the world. To be fair Pluto has been working this process since 2008, but to be fair... it takes time to burn it all down and rebuild it all with a new foundation and structure. This retrograde is a call for you to return to your power. To realize where you are giving yourself away... it may be by putting aside your purpose, it may be by trying to save the world... believe it or not... that is one of the ways you lessen yourself. Your way to your power is through your purpose. There will be various themes you will explore (depending on your chart) in order to get there... This is part of the inner work you can do, to notice where this work is calling you right now. As you step into your response ability for what YOU need right now... you will more and more step into your power.

This is not a call for a guilt trip if you do not yet know your purpose or if you do and don't know how to step into it... Just take the steps that are available to you at this time. Be true to yourself.. be true to your heart. Notice where you fall into the old traps of subjecting and suppressing yourself to fit in... That is probably one of the biggest things any of us can do in and through these retrogrades."

I thought I'd keep going here, with my morning train of thought...

I'm addressing Chiron's shift and its healing effects in our lives. My life. Collective life also. This little planetoid will be playing a larger role than we are used to seeing! Maybe She is stepping into the light. Such a small space body with such a huge role - managing the reconcilliation for humans between change and authority or long term structures - Chiron is the bridge between Uranus and Saturn. She just shifted signs from Pisces to Aries which means we are wrapping up an era of time that is now on its way out for a new beginning. Known as The Wounded Healer, I see Her astrological symbol as 'the Rabbit.' Vigilance and Discernment are key words. Chiron in Aries is an 8 year transit, which means we will be dealing with these issues for the next 8 years. Which is a pretty long and powerful transit, if you ask me.

(If you've followed Q I can tell you that YES, the rabbit he has mentioned in his drops IS the same one I am speaking of here. I hope to say more about that. A LOT more). Curious?

Not to digress...

I wanted to say more about Capricorn and purpose. I feel that John Trudell said it best.

Boiling it down here (and yes, isn't it ironic that Capricorn often describes guilt and criminal behavior)? JT said that it is our responsibility to respect the power of our Creative Intelligence. Using it to be clear and coherent, to help us recognize Reality. "We are responsible for what we do ... As human beings we have been given the power of intelligence to live this life. We should respect this power and use it as clearly and coherently as we can, as often as we can. The objective is to do the best we can with what we have as often as we can ... I'm talking about THINKING. I'm talking about taking the responsibility for that Sacred Power of Intelligence that we have been given." - John Trudell.

Isn't it interesting that Chiron starts off this transit with a conjunction to Mercury, and that Mercury JUST came out of a recent retrograde? Mercury rules THE MIND.
