We have St. Croix hair sheep. Do you have problems with worms? We did the wool sheep for a few years. You are right sheering is a lot of work. Sheep are so much better than goats.

Out of all the different animals we have raised, sheep have never been one. It seems like we never have enough room/pasture to have a little bit of everything. We got rid of our goats because our cattle were cleaning out the pasture too fast. Maybe we will get to try them down the road.
I hope to have Jacob sheep someday. I love to work with wool and to have my own would be amazing!! Thanks for the video @myhomesteaded!
