The Journey - Short Fiction
The boat cut the water surface as it hurriedly went towards the center of the lake. He kept staring at the bodies as they made the way to the center.
"Dump them and be back." was what the boss had said.
He wasn't scared but something about this seemed unsettling.
Pluck Pluck Pluck
The water made way as the boat kept rushing towards the center.
It was the old man who had called 911. He was at the window when he saw a boat topple over. He couldn't make out how many people were there but surely there must be someone on board.
