The Christian life

Do not be a terror to me; you are my refuge in the day of disaster. Jeremiah 17:17 NIV

The life of a believer isn't generally ruddy. I'm very sad if you are new to the faith and that surprises or baffles you. Now and then the outside world expect that since we claim to know God by and by that we have some way or another transcended the worries of life. That is a long way from reality.

No, the Christian life is loaded with strife. Now and again life is brilliant, and at those circumstances we can without much of a stretch see the hand of our God at work in our lives. Different circumstances, however, life gets the chance to be a severe fight just to remain above water. We drift along, some of the time scarcely clutching the hand of our Creator.

But we do hang on… and, adulate His name, considerably more than that, He clutches us. He has never released one of His kids; not one of them has ever been neglected. We clutch the guarantees that His affection never comes up short; that He will never give us a chance to be put to disgrace; that His quality is immaculate when our quality is no more.

We trust; we lean; we snatch tight as we stroll through the valleys, aching and seeking after the day of triumph; for another excursion to the peak; in which we have full certainty will multi day come. We can stand tall through the difficult drudges, in light of the fact that our Redeemer lives and He is our shelter through each tempest of life.

Don’t be intimidated by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God himself. Philippians 1:28 NLT

Of all the immense guarantees in the Bible from God, presumably a standout amongst the most rehashed and plainly worded is that you and I, as offspring of God, don't need to be apprehensive. God has guaranteed us endless triumph. We are on the triumphant side and we can stroll with His capacity day by day. We don't have anything in this world to fear!

When you and I stroll by faith, amidst our battles, others see the extent of our God. Truth be told, others perspective of God is generally formed by the faith we show. Consider your life for one minute. Does your life depict a faith in Christ? Would others be able to see you trusting in God every day? It is safe to say that you are showing a photo of a God through your life that is sufficiently huge to address every one of your issues?

Circumstances are difficult. The world is unnerving, but our God's quality hasn't been tried. We should give others a chance to see us show our faith today.
