Hey there !! its @bitrocker2020 for a weekly update for @myach
There are 2 selected candidate which has been submitted to @sndbox for application to undertake mentoring + support to create and enhance their skills in posting on steemit. By the next update we will begin to highlight their progress. There were numerous #teammalaysia members who were interested and will be inducted in the following months. This to ensure a steady growth rate.
What events / workshops @myach plans to do ?
Both myself ( @bitrocker2020 and the awesome @maverickfoo ) would be organising a bunch of offline workshops to focus solely on igniting the passion of blogging.
These are few of the ideas of workshops that we have planned to have :-
- How to create great posts in 30 minutes ( writing under pressure )
- Photography skills in editing your photo to make it steem worthy
- How to choose the perfect topic for the perfect blog post
- Making the perfect introductory post
All these ideas are credited to @maverickfoo after a 3 hour session and planning with him. Do follow his blogs and you can see why.
GREAT NEWS !!!!! WE HAVE A SPACE ! For all our workshops and events !
Its not the best location as there is traffic congestion during peak hours however its a great space to have at a very reasonable cost. For those who are KL / Selangor base .. its in IOI Boulevard, Puchong. Now, our small little challenge is this... a little wish list !
I need to buy these items before being able to start our workshops / events :-
- Projector ( RM1,800 or about USD 440 )
- Projector Screen ( RM300 or about USD 80)
- Stationaries + Other stuffs ( RM500 or about USD130 )
Total up we need to raise about only USD 650
so any help would be great for the community . it sure is an exciting time for steemit in Malaysia and also for #teammalaysia . Thanks to everyone for their great support !

That'll be awesome!! Homebase for me to visit and maybe crash whenever im around KL, If you dont mind i can sweep the floors there too! lol
Another cheaper option is to get a large LED TV. It works under all light conditions, sharp and more portable than a projector screen.
A 40' Samsung LED TV can go as low as RM1199 nowadays.
But projector will cover a larger space for larger audience. a 40' LED will only be able to cater about 10 people comfortably, unless each slight is with super huge words, no?
@maverickfoo can't use TV ... you will then limit the layout. next week come over to the place with me.
Ah. Even if the TV is portable?

Woooohooo...future workshops will be around my neighborhood...yeah my family and I will transfer to Klang Valley soon. I am so excited for this opportunity :) Btw, can we donate SBD to buy those items? I have no $ :P

its a private space ... located in IOI boulevard .

lol .. sorry for replying in different accounts .. but yea ... its a "private" co-working space kinda thing . lets put it this way . its "complicated"
Pretty excited to start off the "Boiler Room", and we have @deborism an experienced linguistics lecturer to help out too.
