Our village is called Tumpok Teungku Kecamatan Meurah Mulia Kabupaten Aceh Utara. This is one of the construction of roads and irrigation channels for our village as a means for the community. The government this time gave the theme of Village Build.

Desa Membangun means the village has full authority in managing its own village. The village government and the villagers work together to promote and develop their own villages. How to? The village has the authority to create programs that can improve the economy of the community. Villages that decide for themselves the needs of their villages and villages themselves are looking for ways to meet those needs. Desa Membangun means village is no longer the object of development but the subject of development, By Village, From Village, and To Village.

Building a Village is different from the Village Build. Building the Village is the authority of the central government, local government or district government to assist in village development. How to? Villages can follow village development programs that have been set up by the central government, for example the programs of the Village Ministry for the Development of Disadvantaged Areas and Transmigration.
