PARMA RETURN TO SERIE-A
Parma will certainly return to compete in the highest competition in Italy, Serie-A next season. Certainty that they can be over 2-0 win counter Spezia at the Stadio Alberto Picco, La Spezia, Saturday 19 May early morning.
The victory ensures Parma finish in second place Serie-B standings with a notch 72 points from 42 matches. Parma will be staring at Empoli who also automatically promoted to Serie A after coming out as the best of the season in Serie-B.
The success of Parma promotion to Serie-A feels sepecial because the club had previously expressed a loss in March 2015 ago. Former club Gianluigi Buffon is also thrown into Serie-D.
However, three successive promotions led Parma back to Serie A. Clubs based at the Stadio Ennio Tardini will also be back in competition with Italian clubs such as Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan.
Previously, Parma was one of Italy's great clubs in the 1990s. They have won the Cup Winners Cup, UEFA Cup (twice), European Super Cup, Italian Super Cup, and three Coppa Italia wins.
There is still one promotion ticket to the remaining Serie A. One of these tickets will be contested through a play-off involving six teams, namely Frosinone, Palermo, Venezia, Bari, Cittadella, and Perugia.
