How To Train Yourself To Think Creatively
Can creativity come from an organized approach? This is an interesting question to address, and the question is, yes it can!
An example of this would be comedians. They have trained their minds to see the humor in situations, and have the ability to think of humor in situations at any given moment. This is a true gift because they have the ability to make people laugh with this gift.
Improvisation – A Great Way To Become More Creative
Another example would be musicians that can improvise. Improvisation takes a certain amount of knowledge of music theory, and a trained mind to be able to sit at an instrument and play whatever comes to their head. A certain amount of creativity must be flowing through an individual to be creatively spontaneous in an organized approach.
I love to sit at the piano and improvise. It gets the creativity flowing, and it’s important to involve some creative aspects in your life throughout the day. Otherwise life can become monotonous, repetitive, and even boring.
Anyone can train their brain to be more creative with their thinking. Here some simple techniques with which you can start to manifest more creativity at will.
Re-design Everything You See, Hear, Or Even Taste
Start re designing everything you see, hear, or even taste. If you see a bicycle for example, are there anyways you can think of that would make it better? If you hear music, can you listen to your soul and hear the same piece of music as a better version? Or perhaps you tasted something that didn’t taste very good. What ingredients do you think you could use which would make it taste awesome?
Look At Things From Other Perspectives
Thinking of things from other people’s perspectives is a great way to challenge your mind and thought process. What’s the opposite perspective from the perspective you are currently viewing?
A Cool Exercise To Try
Here’s a cool exercise for systematic creativity in poetry. Put a word on each of 40 cards. 10 nouns, 10 verbs, 10 random words, and 10 adjectives. Shuffle and deal out the cards, and see what 4 words you get. Have fun and create poems this way!
There are so many different ways to be creative. The opportunities are limitless. The best ways to be creative, however, are to find ways in which you can use your creativity to make money. If you’re creative, find a way to monetize it and share it with the world.

Excellent post, @musicman99. I've always admired people who could improvise with their music - or comedy.
A few months ago, I led a 30-day fiction writing challenge where we used two daily nouns, and then people should write a story including those two words in only five minutes. It was fun, and so many people wrore awesome stories.
Awesome. Creativity exercises are fun aren't they? It stretches our creativity and imagination.
Indeed it does :)
