RE: Camp with friends at the foot of Mt. Fuji-#8/富士山の麓で友人たちとキャンプ#8/My Actifit Report Card: November 13 2019
The food looks yummy - I really have to try the salted meat. In Germany, we make aluminum foil around potatoes and put them at the side of the fire or into the embers. Mostly they are black outside when they are finished and not that great, the salt around the meat should work better.
The photo with the temperature answers one of the questions I had about the climate in that part of Japan. You're tough that you go camping now! Though I know it's warm when you're in your tent in your sleeping bag, outside you really need a good campfire. Seems you had a lot of fun :)
Thank you for your comment!
The meat baked with salt was really delicious.
The “potato aluminum foil wrapping” that you mentioned in your comment looks very delicious.
I felt like making it too.
As you said, the camp was very cold!
But in winter, the clear and cool air is very refreshing.
And I enjoyed a lot of bonfire at night!
The bonfire is warm and I feel thankful for the fire.
This is the fun of winter camping.
