The Shy Kingfisher

One of my favorite photos. Shy Kingfisher. Apparently he doesn't want to be photographed. And the reflection of the reeds in the water gives a very beautiful background.

This is one of my first shots. And the first serious model. Having wrapped myself in a camouflage net and a goblin suit, I was simply afraid to move, lest I accidentally scare this handsome man.

This Kingfisher gave me a tough time. I had gumboots and tried to get a close shot, but it kept flying among three trees and I went crazy chasing it through the water...finally I gave up . This is a highly cropped shot.
