How to make Chickpea Pancakes at Home
These lush nutritious pancakes are made as simple as possible and have one feature - the characteristic and rather intense aroma of chickpea flour. Best served with jam, condensed milk or chocolate spread.
Ingredients
Chickpea flour
Baking powder
Sugar
Almond milk
Vegetable oil
Ground cinnamon
Vanilla extract
Cooking
Use a whisk to combine flour, baking powder, and sugar. Add cinnamon if desired..
Pour in the milk and stir immediately very thoroughly as chickpea flour clumps easily. You can add vanilla for flavor.
Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Moisten a piece of paper with oil and spread it over a frying pan.
Put 2-3 tablespoons of dough there. Fry for 2-3 minutes on one side, until bubbles appear in the center.
Turn over and cook for about 1 minute more.
Bake the rest of the pancakes in the same way.
