Part 51

Tunç didn't know if he would be angry or thank me. "Ruhi is such a secretive researcher that I have learned the secrets of our ministry with you," he said.

"I could be sure of the result as of yesterday. I knew that this should be the case from the beginning of the investigation, and I had shared my opinion with you, but I did not want to repent any member of such a respectable institution without the specific evidence.”

“For someone in my position, it is not easy to accept such possibilities. Because I am in the discipline of research for a long time, I could sense it, and I would lie if I said it had never affected the mandate,” said Tunç.

Members of the board seemed satisfied with Tunç's statements. The service android took advantage of the pause in the interview and served the ordered drinks around the oval table. When I looked out the window, I saw a luxury yacht with solar panels on its sails that was gracefully passing through the Maiden's Tower. It would be nice to travel to the distant seas by diving into the daytime dreams in that yacht. I didn't like to tell the mystery of the Selim Özben case, not because I had trouble, but because I didn't want to put myself forward.

After saying “First of all, my friend Peri will tell you how we understood that Selim Özben disappeared two years ago, not two months ago,” I handed the word to Peri.

"Long before the announcement of his disappearance, Selim's partner and friend, Galip had published dreams in place of him for nearly two years. Even after watching all of Selim Özben's dreams and taking notes on the topics, themes and main places, I did not think of such an option. Of course, Galip had other kinds of dreams because he was another person. In time, even though these two opposite personalities had influenced each other and transformed to each other in part, that was the case. It was not the only the other artists' dreams that made it difficult to determine the transition. We learned that the dreams of Galip Salik began to blend in with Selim Özben's dreams before the unfortunate disease that saddened us all. Selim Özben's hidden disease records were added to this equation, and the event became more complex. Selim Özben had published most of the successful dreams after freezing, and the ratings of the dreams had increased. If we put aside deception, Galip Salik should be given his right as a great artist,” she said.

”As in dreams, you have fought on the slippery ground," said Qian Chen. She had a sweet tune in his voice, and she had increased my motivation to tell what was going on.

"I can say that Selim Özben's research has caused serious damage to my mind. I even thought that aliens kidnapped him some time not to ignore any possibility. I watched almost all of his dreams, followed every trace he left in hypernet, read the writings of his fans and critics, met a small number of acquaintances and reached nowhere. It shouldn't have been that hard. We were fighting a rival with divine powers. I knew Galip was a smart man and a great artist, and I admired him, but he was not an expert in this stuff. There must have been someone who had masterminded their tracks. There was someone who blacked out the evidence, maybe even misled the research team before us. He was a rich man, and we always knew he preferred to work with the best. The ones who knew the investigation best was in our organization, and the one who would receive his help had to be someone with moral weakness. Tunç guessed who he was, after while we will hear his name in the news with Galip.”

"Our friends have made three very valuable determination, which brings us to the conclusion: The first one is that our friend Önder Gülmez gave support to Galip about the investigation, and the second is that Selim Özben was lost two years ago, while Galip Salik published dreams instead him and the third is that Selim Özben is frozen as a result of an unfortunate brain disorder. Can you tell us about the material evidence that leads us to these conclusions?” Tunç said.
