This is the sad reality bro but just like @lukong said just pray to God for true love and always bare in mind that no one is perfect. We expect perfection and that is the cause of a lot of heart breaks.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends
That's my definition of true love! True love is forgetting about yourself and thinking of your partner. Imagine everyone had that in mind, the degree of love in this world would've been superb. But now we have spouses who can't lay down their pride for their own, can't lay down their ego for their own but can only judge when they do something bad.
We need to lay down our lives to truly love to as Christ loved the church.
