Tech free woman in a tech world!!!
This is a quick post.
Just to explain that I am the least tech savvy person I know.
I'm serious. I had to get my 12 year old daughter to help me do a PowerPoint, embarrassingly enough I even forgot what it was called and just had to ask her that as well.
Whilst I do have a laptop, it has decided that I am the enemy and no longer functions when I try to use it.
I'm guessing it also does not appreciate the fact that all my children have at one point or another dropped various food particles eg: chips, breadcrumbs and even apple peel into the keyboard. Not to mention the glitter disaster of 2016 from which I am still finding random sparkles.
It has also suffered the repeated double handed smashing from my beautiful Miss 2 whom when asked what she was doing smiled her devilish smile and said "nothing."
So needless to say, my temperamental laptop now belongs to the kids and there endless need to play crossy road for hours and hours. Anything more stressful than a chicken crossing the road and the poor old girl takes a long vacation where she refuses to turn on for a couple of days or if your lucky she turns on then promptly informs you that the battery is dead, despite having the power cord plugged in!
Anyway, I am without computer. Not that I was that good at using one in the first place.
So here I sit writing this on my lovely second hand I Phone 5 while feeding a squirming 11month old and explaining to Mr 4 that I am not talking to Nanna or anyone else.
So to get to the point, I am technically challenged and would like to request everyone bare with me whilst I navigate my new found addiction to Steemit. Which I am blaming entirely on my sister @krystle.
I am hoping in the near future to be able to replace said laptop with a new one, that will be kept far away from the little fingers of my darling children. All sixty of them (fingers that is). I am also hoping to get some much needed tech lessons so that I can share my posts with everyone in a manner pleasing to all, most of all myself.
Thank you for your patience and support of this mumofmany!
The life of a mom. 🙈 Hope you will be able to replace it soon 😉 ...i dont even have one 🤣
Thanks, one day☺️ got to love being mum, you get to be last on the I need that list.
True. The very last indeed. I had one though, it is now without keyboard buttons, useless and hidden somewhere back in SA 🤔
I'm glad I'm not the only one.
I meant who has killed a computer. not glad that you don't have one.
What are specific tech lessons you're looking for? :)
I know the basics, however I'm in desperate need of help with editing and images on my posts. I'm hoping my lovely sister @krystle will give me a hand next time I visit.

Sixty fingers! That explains so much about the state of my glass top coffee table after you guys have been over for a visit lmao... Further I second the vilification of your sister (my daughter) @krystle, I am now too addicted to steemit and likewise my laptop is not holding up well under the strain. The only up side is that it is producing enough heat to replace my electric blanket so the outcome is environmentally sound :)
