Tips For Becoming a Novice Content Creator

Hello everyone, my name is muksin, I'm a graphic design and content creator. Since 2016, I have started studying the world of graphic design. Precisely my last year as a high school student. I took computer lessons as a graphic design to hone my skills and also because my hobby is in the graphic design world. There I learned three different applications but their functions are very much directed to graphic design. In short, after I finished taking lessons for three months, I was able to master the three applications. After graduating from high school, I continued my education, at the time of college I was not too focused on graphic design, but I also still had to study it more in a self-taught way.

At the end of 2018, I took the initiative to become a content creator. Luckily I already have basics in video editing, so I just need to find a little info about the creator's own content. When I first edited a video, I was still using a laptop with very low specifications, only 2GB of RAM. Therefore I can not use professional software, but I have to use a standard software for beginners and not too heavy for my laptop.

In this post I want to share a few tips for novice content creators, based on the experience I've had a few years ago.

The first point that is very important in my opinion is DESIRE, why do I prioritize? Because everything we hope for must start from a desire. The desire I mean is the desire in terms of wanting to always work as a content creator, after there is a definite desire we will continue to try to study the field with great confidence and maximum results will soon be achieved.

Coupled with our equipment is not so complete. Of course it will be a factor that can break our spirit in working. However, with a very strong commitment that we instill in our hearts, that is what will protect us so that we can continue to work. Even in terms of work, it is not easy to reach the perfect stage, all of that requires a process, we still follow the flow and just enjoy the process, surely one day we will reach a point that we have been dreaming of.

Because in my opinion for equipment in the technological era like now it is not difficult, as beginners we can use our smartphones for our main tools, whether it's in the process of recording video, recording sound, editing videos, we can apply everything through our smartphones with the help of some supporting software. , and that's all we can get for free. With increasingly sophisticated technology, smartphone cameras can now almost compete with DSLR cameras. We just have to apply the first and second points that I mentioned above, namely the desire to work and commitment. That's the most important thing that a novice content creator should have.

It is impossible for us to continue to work with very minimal skills that we master, but we must also expand these skills and also our insight about it. This greatly affects the results of our work, if we only rely on our skills and do not try to add insight, of course our work will not be improved and updated. So, my suggestion is that we continue to add our skills and our insights, so that our work can be of high quality and in demand by the audience of our work.

With creativity we can get new ideas and concepts in our work, not only focusing on a concept that we have studied from the beginning, but we can improve our ideas and concepts with our creativity.

Those are some tips from me and also experiences that I can share with all of my friends, hopefully they can be useful and motivated all of you so that you don't give up easily in pursuing a field.
