TOURIST SITES IN GHANA
Hello lovely Steemians,
I wrote a post yesterday about some of the tourist places I've being in Ghana, here's a link to yesterday's post. Todayta we continue with our glorious journey. A tour my motherland Ghana I must say.
Let's take a look inside the Cape Coast Castle.
Cape Coast Castle is one of about forty "slave castles", or large commercial forts, built on the Gold Coast of West Africa (now called Ghana) by European traders. Originally built by the Swedes for trade in timber and gold, and later turned into a slave castle. It was built in 1610. The Cape Coast Castle has a Dungeon for the Male slaves and a Dungeon for the Female Slaves.

I've added a video link from youtube on the general tour of The Cape Coast Castle. After watching the video I wept.
Let's move to the Elimina Castle.
It was established in 1482. It was the first ever built Castle in the Country. I've been here once with my family about 10 years ago. Unfortunately, I can't find the pictures we took. The purpose of the Elmina Castle was to give support to captains by providing their vessels with a secure harbor. But later on the used it as a slave factory and a trading post.

Again I have left a video link down below
That's it for today.
