I'M BACK AGAIN

in #tourism7 years ago

Hello Steemians,

Its been quite some time since I posted a content on steemit. I know steemit is a great platform where you earn for writing posts, I've been having some problems here and there that's is why I'm not consistent on steemit.
I'll like to write some of the reasons

  • Huge cost of internet subscription in Ghana. So help me by upvoting my posts.
  • Sometimes I do not know what to write. I feel like I have to write a perfect post that will land me those dollars. :)
  • Learning the markdown very well (this is a plus for me). Because without the markdown your work looks dirty. I have been learning the markdown from @tj4real's video on youtube, here's a link, check it out Markdown tutorial.

Let's get to business.

Today I'll like to talk about some few tourist site in Ghana. I want y'all to come visit. I'll start with the places I've being to then continue with places I'll like to go later in another post.

The first is Boti Falls.

I have being here twice, when I was in primary school. The tourist site is located in the eastern region of Ghana.

There are two falls at Boti. The upper and lower falls. The people in the locality describe it as male and female. When there is high water level due to the rainy season, the two falls meet in what is described as "a mating ceremony". A rainbow is formed by the splashing water.

To see this splendid "mating ceremony", tourists will have to descend over 150 steps. The pool formed at the base of the falls provides a refreshing cooling down effect for those who want to take a bath.

There are also two attraction site near the Boti falls. They are the umbrella rock and the three –head- palm tree.

The second tourist site is THE KAKUM NATIONAL PARK.

This tourist site is situated in the central region of Ghana. It is home to many animal species. It has a museum and a canopy walk.

It is one of only 3 locations in Africa with a canopy walkway. (Wiki)

The third tourist site is KINTAMPO WATERFALL.

This tourist site is located in the Brong Ahafo Region. This waterfall, one of the main natural attractions of the locality, is hidden deep in the forest and it is formed by 3 main drops.
