Stilt-Legged Flies | Macro Photography

While I was at my friend's house yesterday afternoon, around my friend's house, I had seen and photographed a kind of fly that was mating on the leaves. These flies come from the family of flies Micropezidae otherwise known as stilt-legged flies.

Insects in this family generally have distinctive legs with a long size, the front legs of this insect clearly look smaller than the other legs. Most of these insects have a long body size, this insect is also black and has a red color striped on the legs, he also has a pair of thin wings on his shoulders.

I took this picture using the camera Oppo F1s smartphone and added a macro lens, this picture I took in the city of Lhokseumawe.
