Just like how a mountain doesn't identify with the clouds flying past and hanging around, we don't have to identify with the things that are said to us and the things that happen to us.

Haha thanks! I heard it in a guided meditation tape I used to listen to ages ago, but have long since forgotten where to find it. It always stuck with me though.
