Oysters for starters

I love fresh oysters with a squeeze of lemon juice or a couple drops of hot sauce. Simply irresistible. If we are at some hotel for buffet, my first stop would be the oyster bar.

My brother-in-law loves oysters as well but he no longer enjoys oysters in all their freshness and succulence. I think his tummy must have had a bad encounter. Nowadays, he would 'cook' the oysters in some steamy hot soup that the buffet table also serve. He says not only does he get to enjoy almost cooked oysters but the flavour of his bowl of soup is so much more enhanced.
