Frankfurt Motor Show

I could not believe my eyes when I visited the Messe Frankfurt with some friends to attend the Internationale Automobile-Ausstellung or IAA Frankfurt Motor Show.

It was the last day of the Frankfurt Motor Show and the crowds inside and outside each of the twelve buildings were unbelievable. I had expected fewer visitors and hoped to enjoy a leisurely admiration of those shiny, powerful, high performance and state-of-the-art vehicles on display. But no, the crowds did not allow that with diehard enthusiasts hoarding their spot for the longest time scrutinising from engine to dashboard.

The biennial Frankfurt Motor Show, one of the largest Motor Show in the world has a rich history of introducing cutting edge automotive technology to the world. It is participated by all reputable automotive manufacturers and a very exciting exhibition for motoring enthusiasts.

Visitors can inquire or make purchases of parts and accessories, telematics, products for servicing, repair and maintenance from the numerous vendors on hand. Some test drives were also available and there were queues of people waiting patiently for their turn.

As the crowds surged from hall to hall whenever an announcement is heard, I lost sight of all my friends. As I couldn't reach any of them by phone, I had no option but to find the subway and take the train back to the hotel.
