KIK TRYING TO BOOTLEG STEEMIT?????
Kik to use Cryptocurrency as main form of payment.
Yesterday KIK announced that it would implement it's own cryptocurrency on their platform yesterday. Rewarding them for messages, stickers and content creation.
Hmmmmmm.....where have we heard that before???????? Oh I know right here with Steem.
So I guess there's a division of KIK in Canada, and they also announced that they would be using cryptocurrency on their platform as well. But not just any coin, they plan to exclusively use Ether!!!! Yes you read right Ether.
Honestly I think that is the wrong move for KIK. They should be looking at Steem. Ether is extremely volitale. I see this move as a big win for Steemit. Because once users on KIK start to not like the way they implement Ether on the platform they will seek out better alternatives. So you tell me where do you think they will run to? You you guessed it. Right here to Steemit!!!!

Interesting. Kik has one big downfall and that's all their fake porn bots, that flood their platform. I get about 4-5 Instagram followers a week demanding me to go visit their Kik haha. The interesting thing though, is that they are planing to implement ether as their currency. I can see that working for them better than starting their own, but other than porn bots, I'm sure their primary audience is 12 year old females, who wouldn't use the currency.
I gotta check out Kik, before I diss it completely.

any KIK members should fit Steemit into the comments wherever possible, especially when the inevitable problems with ETH come about

What happens when Facebook sees the writing on the wall and come up with their own crypto coins?
By th time that happens Steemit would be light years from where we are today.
