Travel Diary: PART 1 London
Dear Steemians,
it's been a few weeks since my last post, so I appreciate you still following me. I've said this before, but maybe you've missed it so I want to mention it again, just in case you are curious about my absence.
Experience.
For me travels to countries I've never been to before is the most beautiful experience. It's always an adventure that makes me feel alive and the best teacher in life. Now I know most people aren't like this (in our social media addicted world), but for me in order to get the full experience, receive impressions and digest those, turning them into sharp memories, I need to be just there, until I'm back. Now what I mean with "just there" is that I'd rather spend all the time absorbing everything, watching, doing, learning, without sharing it online right away.
I still capture the moments and then once it is over, I love to reflect and do recaps.
The last 3 weeks have taught me a lot about my instincts or my inner voice that when you go with the right flow, without asking so many questions, you are guided to incredible places and effortlessly meet the right people and opportunities at the right time. I got to know a new culture that contradicts my belief system, I met genuine people like never before and I've gained new perspectives, confidence and grace . I'm not going into detail about the single experiences now, but simply want to give you an overview of how much has happened.
Also I don't know if you know that feeling, but when I get into "my zone", meaning when I get passionate about something, for example a particular project, I automatically get sort of a laser focus that has my brain thinking about nothing, but that. Now as an addition that is exactly what happened during my travels and so February 2017 for me turned into a magical month of experiences.

Travel Diary: PART 1 London
So, if you've read my previous post you know that I was in LONDON, partly for some blockchain events such as blockchain week and the exhibition. I even met some fellow Steemians there, like Chris: https://steemit.com/news/@chris4210/blockchainweek-london-talking-about-the-blockpay-steemit-and-bitcoin-2017124t93618785z
I know for Americans and I guess even Europeans it is pretty hard to imagine that I, living in Germany have never been to England before... But yes it is true. That was my first time visiting London and I absolutely loved it!
If I was asked to describe London, I would do so as a kind of European New York City (don't hate me for that description). The streets are lively, a coffee shop at every corner, Oxford Street is like a miniature Times Square, it's busy but lovely at the same time. My friend and I rented an apartment in a beautiful area "Kensington" and we felt home right away.
We had a great time!
I didn't film too much in London, but oh well. Here is a short "Intro" to the travel series:
We had such luck with the weather, it was absolutely beautiful.
I fell in love with the marble interior design of Harrods! This building is supposed to be a Shopping Mall? more like a Fashion Museum!
Aaaand some more Marble, Fashion & Art !
I decided to instead of always writing lengthy blogposts, to just share some of my favorite memories in form of a photo-album or even video, sometimes with a caption or maybe a short description, since generally pictures really do speak for themselves, so I hope you will enjoy my next travel album with some recap footage from my travel to the UAE.
Until then...
Feel free to comment, ask questions or simply leave an upvote (I see you).
Your read as always means a lot.

Am confused why such a great post has such one single comment only? Might be still too new to judge :-(?
Thought London was all grey weather... guess you brought sunshine with you.
