Bitcoins stolen on random websites : Electrum Wallet
Google Developer Tavis Ormandy found a bug in Electrum wallet, which allowed random websites to steal Bitcoins. As Electrum wallet is an oldest desktop wallet, which is used by millions of users has affected many bitcoin holders.
Tavis Ormandy took to Twitter to address Electrum users to be careful. He also said that there was open issue regarding Electrum wallet last year, but the company didn’t fix it.
After his tweet, the company has released a new version 3.0.5 of Electrum wallet, in which this bug is fixed. Latest version is now available for download.
