My Top 5 Quick & Cheap Meals.
We all like a large and fancy meal, but sometimes we don’t have the time or energy to cook this.
I’ve had my lazy moments as well and that’s how I found these quick, delicious and fast meals.
WARNING: CONTAINS A LOT OF BEANS!
- White Beans in Tomato Sauce
Chop up ½ of a sjalot, 1 clove of garlic and ½ of a tomato. Heat a pot, throw or place your sjalots and your clove of garlic in the pot. Put in the beans, the diced tomato and add 2tsp of brown sugar, some salt, pepper and provencal herbs. Put all of this on a low fire.
- Aïki Noodles in an omelet
Say whaaat? Yes, correct. Take 3 eggs, mex them up with some pepper and the Aïki spices bag. Cook your noodles. Place your noodles on a heated pan in a circle, pour over your eggs, flip and eat.
- Kidney Beans with Salsa Sauce
This is my favourite one. Clean your beans, put them in a bowl or pot, add 3 spoons of salsa and warm up. That’s it.
- 'The Wonder Salad'
‘It’s the best, truly amazing’- as Donald Trump would say. 1 can of corn, lentils, chickpeas and kidney beans. Wash them. Put them in a bowl. Add pepper, soy sauce and olive oil. A meal for every time of the day.
- Sweet Potato Fries
Pre-Heat your oven to 180°C. Chop up you sweet potato in the size of fries you want, put them in a bowl, drizzle over some olive oil, salt, pepper and provencal herbs. Leave them for about 30 minutes. Take them out, add some fresh baconnaise and enjoy!
