Welcome to Colon st

Colon St. is located in Cebu City. The capital region of Cebu City in Central Visayas Philippines. From what I understand, this is the busiest street in Cebu province. This is where the centre of civilisation in Cebu province. The huge malls and tall buildings will be found in this place. Before the pandemic, there were too many people roaming around in this area. But for now, it's slowly recovering from the effects of a pandemic. Maybe it will not go back right away from what it used to before. Well, it needs to take time like other places in the world.

It's not that special because I didn't do anything. Actually, I went into this place because I was searching for shoe repair. The shoes that my board mate I've been using because I borrowed it to him is being broken. I need to use it for now because I don't have one for walking. I thought it will be cheaper, still cheap for others maybe but I didn't expect that I spent 30 hives on the current value now. I need it so I must spend the money without hesitation.

While I waited for it to be finished. I took some walking in the area and captured images of how it looks like now in this street. I saw a lot of people from the previous here. The malls and stores were being crowded. They placed signs about social distancing but I don't think it was being implemented. People, I think didn't give a damn about the views now.

I was taking photos while observing the area.

We were advised to wear a mask and face shield in going outside. Even in riding buses and going to crowded places. Although it's not being used the face shield all the time because it's annoying to the eyes and face. Most of us used it just to comply with the protocol but when no authorities were there. We removed it or placed it in our heads. lol

When the sewing of the shoes was done. I decided to walk in going home. I miscalculated the payment in sewing it so no more money was available in riding a bus. It's not that far and that was my intention from the first place. To walk in going home if the rain won't fall but knowing that super typhoon is arriving in the Philippines. There's no assurance for good weather but I was thankful that it didn't rain. I arrived in my boarding house dry. I was just lucky maybe because when I arrived the rain started falling. lol
