Floods in the rainy season, are there still in Lhokseumawe?
The city of Lhokseumawe has been raining for the past few days. There are several points in Lhokseumawe that are still experiencing serious flooding. However, when compared to 10 years ago, waterlogging in every rainy season continues to decline. Since the construction of the reservoir and the construction of a large drainage system, the flooding in Lhokseumawe has been able to be overcome slowly. Moreover, every year the government continues to improve the repair of the trench. After receiving village funds, the villages consistently built new ditches to overcome the flood problem in their respective villages.
Last night, Chalik Mawardi and I went to the house of the Chancellor of the Malikussaleh University. It's raining. Along the way I noticed that there were no puddles of water even though it had just finished raining heavily. Usually the Tumpok Teungoh area goes to the Rector's house which is prone to flooding.
Then after stopping for a while at the Chancellor's house to leave Chalik's letter, we went to Taufik Kopi via a different route and still in Tumpok Tengoh, it was true that some of these places had started to improve and were no longer flooded. Hopefully Lhokseumawe City will continue to improve in the future. If there are places that are still flooded, please tag photos in the comments. Let everyone know the real situation.
