Welcome

If anyone reading this would care to stroll through my previous posts, mixed in with the tutorials you'd see a few 'life' related articles. Within these I post about the hardship I've faced lately, so during this post I'm focusing on the positive.

Steemit, is a force for greatness. The positive impact it's having on people using it is outstanding and I'm basing this on my own experiences. I now have something to look forward to, waking up and checking comments of various posts, reading through the insane amount of articles being uploaded every minute!

It hasn't simply kept me busy either, the website is so full of motivated people pouring their heart and soul into their posts that it's hard not to be swept away. This website has gotten me out and about for the first time in a long time, it's given me the push I needed to get out of bed and start working on myself and I hope its doing the same to each and every one of you out there.

As pointed out by @dollarvigilante , there may be people disappointed, wallowing in self pity simply because their post hasn't earned them thousands, but there aren't many of them. The majority of this user base has embraced the hard work involved to create quality, interesting content and despite having the amount of money earned from a post being directly displayed for everyone to see, people are posting for different motives.

Please continue to be such a great community and if you are one of the people losing motivation due to lack of recognition, know that there is ALWAYS someone that has taken the time to read your article even if they haven't left feedback. My next post will be a roundup of 10 posts/blogs that went unnoticed but deserve the attention from people! so keep posting, I'll be lurking and reading, even if others don't :)
