They used their position to sustain their power status, wealth and political connection,to manipulate the policies, institutions and rules of procedure in the allocations of resources and financing.

it's the abuse of entrusted power for private gain, it can classified as grand, petty and political,depending on the amounts of money lost on the specific sector where it occurs, it consist of acts committed at a high level of the government that distort policies which enable leaders to benefit at the expense of the public funds.

how does corruption affect on our country future?

this will have a Big effect on the economy of the nation, because it prevent the natural laws of the economy from functioning freely,as stated above the photo, it adversely impacts the economies and societies of affected nations and also it depletes national wealth.

the Corrupt officials invest scarce public resources in projects that will line their pockets rather than benefits of the communities ,priorities high profile projects such as power plants, pipelines and refineries over less spectacular but more urgent infrastructure projects like schools,hospital,public markets and roads.
they also hinders the development of fair market structures and distorts competition,which in turn deters investments.

what should we do to stop corruption on the government?

• we should vote on trusted personnel to run in the specific position in the government,

• we should check the background and the history of the person.

• we should formed organization to stop corruption in the government sectors and create independent justice system for transparency on funds to properly audit on such project or financial transaction via audit trails monitoring system of government projects to protect the interest the public funds.

• Companies and organisations should empower the whistleblowers through effective policies and security procedures, in order to reveal the abuses of corruption activities of government officials.

• we should protect the public interest and reputations for the integrity of the people and the nations itself by having a transparency system on the government.
