How do you benefit from the "Hundred Pieces" method?
The first and greatest benefit you may get from the “hundred pieces” method is that you will view your time as a “time balance” that you must maintain and improve its use. For every piece and every ten minutes it becomes for you a coin that you must use well and spend it rationally. If you have reached this conclusion and this consideration, you will have gone a long way in developing yourself and running your time.
One hundred pieces is a great way, too, as it helps you quickly to convert data to percentages, if the study takes 6 hours per day, that is 36 pieces. So, you can quickly conclude that classes take up 36 percent of your daily schedule. The rest is consumed by other businesses that you will conclude by completing the 100-piece scheme.
As we said earlier, you have to start writing down what you did for an entire day. Of course, you will not write down the details, but rather how long each work took.
Once you have done that. You have to take another sheet and start analyzing the result. What this means is, that you must specify next to each work you have done whether the number of pieces required to complete it (appropriate, inappropriate, duration must be reduced, or inappropriate, and the period of completion must be increased). For example: If it takes you an hour to complete your homework, is the period proportional to the difficulty and length of your request, or is half an hour enough to be sufficient?
Also, the work done during the day should be divided into two parts according to importance, and compare the duration assigned to each section. It does not make sense that the study review and the completion of your homework take one hour, while video games and browsing on social media sites take two and a half hours from your day! The same applies to the rest of the work you do throughout your day.
Once you have a clear summary of your day, set goals based on this outcome, and try to apply them the next day. For example: If you decide to limit your internet browsing hours to only half an hour (i.e. three pieces), and increase your review period to two hours (i.e. 18 pieces), try the next day to challenge yourself to consume 100 pieces according to what you planned. Thus, with the end of the day, review your commitment to what you decided.
Review your schedule periodically until you come to organize your time that includes all your daily activities, and satisfies your work and daily program without stressing your body and distracting your thoughts.
By applying this method, you will become the master of your time, and you will be able to organize it in a way that suits you without you being a victim of wasting it for the benefit.
