Hi guys!
Today I am going to talk to you a little more about what is DADA (@dadanyc) and why it makes me feel so happy.
In DADA.nyc I have found a creative platform like I have never seen before in the digital world. A large congregation of art lovers from around the world comes together in one place to present their ideas and others can give them an answer with their own speeches.
All of this with drawings.
Using the basic tools that the same platform has, all artists create with the same media and on identical canvases. The other part that we must emphasize is that by creating within the same platform, all that we see there are original creations. And since there is no pay in between, basically they are free creations. The point of Art is the Art itself.
Humans dedicating their time to the creation and contemplation of the creations of other artists and creating in response to other artists.
It seems like a great way to make a chain to put ideas together and a place to share our love. I have always received in response, drawings where you can appreciate the love, effort and dedication. Answers much more real and sensitive than what I'm used to receive in the real world. But on top of all that, I found there a lot of fun!
Funny images. Crazy nonsense. Incredible characters. Colors and shapes and textures that fill my eyes and my heart.
Really. It is a lot of fun!
Here I want to show you how conversations are shown and the option to respond with your drawings.
Or you can make a creation by bringing to life what is in your head and waiting for someone to see and reply to you.
The tools are very basic but they have not limited the artists to deliver incredible creations. Worthy of a museum.
You can start a drawing and save it to continue later, but once it is published it can not be deleted or edited.
And this is a bit of the process in creating this psychedelic cat that I made yesterday, playing in Dada.
