The scary valley

The valley is a natural basin or low on the surface of the earth. The valleys extend between plains, plateaus and mountains. The rivers and torrents flowing into the valleys gradually flow from the inland lands to the ocean. The valleys are fertile, making them arable. The valleys are similar in shape, and the valley floor is called the valley floor. Most of the wadis land downstream. The mountain valleys have a narrow floor but the valley floor in the low plains stretches for several kilometers in width. The floor of the valley parallel to the river bank is called the flood plain, and when the river flows over its banks, its waters flood the plain of the valley. The sides of the valley are called valley walls, or valley slopes. The intersection, which results from the confluence of two adjacent valleys, is called a line.
