Where in NYC do you live?
I live in Brooklyn, I was born and raised here, so NYC is my root.
How old are you?
29 Years old! But I feel like an old man sometimes given the shit I've put my body through!
What do you do for a living?
I am a Structural Engineer and I work at a private consulting company in the city. I mostly work on existing buildings, designing additions, rehabilitation, and modifications. This isn't my dream job by any means, but I love the people I work with, and it keeps my mind fresh since I am constantly solving new problems.
Educational Background?
I have a Bachelors of Engineering from The City College of New York, a local school. I am 2 classes away from completing my Masters degree, also in Engineering, but I took a pause to get into cryptocurrency ($$).
What are your hobbies?
Boy, this is a problem for me. I am a HUGE outdoors fanatic so most of my hobbies are outdoors, but obviously living in NYC restricts me from participating in most of them on a normal basis, so below is listed in order of normal hobby to once in a while hobby.
- Martial Arts, Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu specifically
- Dirt Bikes
- Working on Machines (cars, bikes, you name it)
- Making videos
- Hunting
- Camping (mostly as a result of dirt biking and hunting)
- Climbing
- Skydiving (gave this up to ride more, but will pick it back up soon, its been 2 years since my last jump, currently at 85 jumps)
I want to get to know some steemians who live in the NYC area, or nearby who have similar interest! Let's do a local meetup!

thanks!!! That shot came about when I realized I had no where to sleep. All the hotels were booked, all the paid campsites were booked.
I literally threw my pack on, packed my hammock and walked into the woods and found this place with an awesome view. It was on a slight decline, so a tent wasnt practical. hammocked worked great, until i realized that having your back to air is just as bad as having your back to the ground without a pad. It was mighty cold when I woke up!!!
