Game Review - World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King

Hi everyone, I'm sure y'all heard about the game called World of Warcraft, over the years that I spent playing this game I learned nearly everything possible.
So today I will be reviewing this awesome game for people who never tried to play it.

• World of Warcraft has 6 expansion sets, in this review I will be talking about the second expansion set Wrath of the Lich King

Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK) is considered one of the most successful expansions in WoW history, this expansion brought balance to the game, innovative functions, tons of new subscribers and sleep deprivation.

The principal protagonist of WotLK is the Lich King - the lord of the Scourge.

Most important raids in WotLK are: Icecrown Citadel (Lich King Boss), Ruby Sanctum (Halion Boss), Obsidian Sanctum (Sartharion Boss), Naxxramas (Kel'Thuzad Boss) and Ulduar (Yogg-Saron Boss).

World of Warcraft is only the name of the game.
The name of the world where our game takes place within is Azeroth.

I won't go into lore because it's much more interesting to discover the lore in the process of gaming, also it would take weeks to write the full lore here.

Azeroth is divided among 2 factions which constantly is killing each other - Horde & Alliance.
Horde is constituted by ugly races which are Orcs, Trolls, Undeads, Taurens and Blood Elfs.
Therefore Alliance is ruled by Humans, Gnomes, Dwarfs, Night Elfs and Draeneis.

There is so-called Dungeons and Raids in world of Azeroth, where you make groups with other people to fight AI controlled creatures together, this creatures hold the Elite Status and they are way more stronger than your average world monsters.

Dungeons are made for 5 people groups, Raids can go up to 40 people groups.
Nearly everything related to AI is considered PvE (Player versus Environment).
While in a raid or dungeon you can have one of three roles: Fighter, Healer or Tank

• Fighter is designed for people who just want to do damage
• Healer is for those who want to restore health and support the group (Only some classes can heal)
• Tank takes all the damage and holds the attention of Elite monsters (Only some classes can Tank)

When it comes to real human interactions, usually related to fighting each other in Battlegrounds (a special area where wars between Alliance and Horde happen) then it's considered PvP (Player vs Player).

WotLK offers a choice of 10 different classes

Warrior - The class that will make you spit blood, warriors are the most tough class. They are merciless butchers who won't stop killing you no matter what, they will try to kill you and if you can't resist - you will be murdered. Warriors are usually welcome in dungeons and raids due to their ability to take a lot of damage, which makes them a very good tank.

Paladin - This class is one of the few hybrid classes that can execute all 3 roles in a dungeon or raid. Paladins are almost as tough as warriors and they are known as homosexuals because they have an ability called "Divine Shield" which totally makes them immune to any kind of damage for 6 seconds. If you are homosexual consider playing a paladin. Paladins are holy soldiers of the light.

Hunter - Hunter is a class that is able to have a fighting pet that will support him in battles. Survivability of Hunters is insane. When you master this class you will have tons of ways to flee from a fight, it's a very fun class, but not easy to master.

Rogue - A coward that will cut your throat as soon as possible, rogues don't care about anybody. They are selfish and dangerous. Playing this class will let you hide from the enemies in the shadows of night by using their exclusive ability called Stealth, I had a lot of fun playing this class it's just amazing, if you get strong enough by farming raids and dungeons you can literally appear from nothing and kill people with one fatal shot.

Priest - Priest is a class that I like very much. You can execute 2 roles - Fighter and Healer. Priests are considered the best healers in the World of Warcraft, as fighters priests turn into shadow demons and then, they will mess with your brain until you die, they can even control your character. When you see a skilled shadow priest, run as fast as you can (well not that fast, I know what you thought), and remember - NEVER look back.

Death Knight - This class was released in WotLK expansion and you need level 55 character of any class in order to make a Death Knight. They can be amazing tanks and fighters, Death Knights rely on diseases that they imply into their enemies. They hit hard and bring death, it's the most creepy class.

Shaman - Shamans can be Healers and Fighters. A fun class for beginners and a kill machine for pros. If you are looking for fun I will recommend playing a Shaman it's newbie friendly, Shamans have totems that support them by providing temporal additional statistics, also as a fighter once in a while you will be able to summon 3 spectral wolves to support you in fighting your enemies, Shamans are friendly with you.. Until you make them use their powers of nature.

Mage - Probably the most fun class to play for newbies and for advanced players, as a frost mage you can have a water pet that will support you by throwing Icy Bolts at your enemies, Mages offer a ton of portals that can be used by the whole raid or dungeon group, also you can earn in-game currency called gold, by opening portals to other cities, for another players. As a Mage you will be able to freeze your enemies in place and run away. In World of Warcraft universe gravity exists - so people die from falling, but not Mages they will fall slowly until they reach the ground. That is because they have an ability to do that, they have tons of cool abilities, very interesting class to play.

Warlock - Warlocks... They will make you burn in hell, they will make you speak in demon language, they will make you go through pain you never thought existed. As a Warlock you will be able to have a demon pet to support you in your fights. Warlocks are very strong, their play style can be compared to mages but their goal is to cause death. They inflict pain to their enemies, they curse them up until death comes after them. Skilled Warlocks with a healer around is a kill machine.

Druid - Druids are very kind to everybody and not dangerous at all. They seek peace and balance in the world of Azeroth.
Playing a druid is fun and entertaining, you will be able to transform yourself into a tree to heal your allies and different animals including cat and bear to mercilessly mutilate your enemies when it's needed. For those of you who seek more peaceful way of dealing with enemies you will be able to transform yourself into a magical, giant Owl which then "spams moonfire", just kidding. You will be able to use a variety of abilities, like making stars fall into your enemies.
