Goodbye Apu

The social justice warriors have struck again, this time saving the world from the emotional torture that millions of people have had to endure for over thirty seasons since 1989.

The Indian character of Apu has been a part of the Simpsons from the beginning, which is now in it's 29th year, and only this year has the modern day Spanish Inquisition also know as SJW's found offense in his existence. This is usually what happens when you have way too much time on your hands or have no job, or no interesting hobbies. The main issue they seem to have with Apu, is that he is representing a racial stereotype of Indian-Americans, also that the actor voicing the character is white, so now that also racist. The creators of the Simpsons have decided to appease the mob of outraged people who probably don't even watch the show, by removing the character from the show. The actor voicing Apu has also formally apologized to all those who have been viciously offended by this, no doubt this has cause some major PTSD to the masses, not as bad as when Trump won, but close.

The really funny part of this story is the complete and utter hypocrisy, the entire show is just littered with either racial or cultural stereotypes, almost each and every character is a stereotype. It's almost like these keyboard activists have never even seen The Simpsons, or the comedy is just totally lost on them. Take Homer, he is the typical derogatory stereotype of the white male husband who drinks to much beer and is an all round moron who sucks at his job, then there's the stoner guy, the Scottish janitor, the doughnut loving over weight cop and then red neck white guy who lives in a trailer park. Those stereotypes are fine, because it's making fun of white folks, but the Indian guy, oh my god our dare they, commence the triggering.

The idiocy of singling out only one character, and it's being done in defense of a group of people who never asked these SJW's to do this for them, yet they do so any way, is just completely asinine. Here the question, why now? The show has be running for 29 years and never has anyone complained about such drivel, do the people in India not have computers or internet to moan on social media about the culture appropriation of a character on a TV show. Maybe they just don't care about such absolute nonsense. Welcome to 2018 gang.
