Can Things Get Any More Crazy

Just when you think the world could not get any nutty, every day single day the news of something more insane comes to light. It's almost like people are try to out do each other with stupidity, it is literally the film Idiocracy unfolding in real life and in real time. This morning I finally decided to just get the gist of the story in Texas about a father and his seven year old son, who has just lost a legal battle where the mother get go ahead with gender transformation for the kid. This would allow the mother to give the kid puberty blockers, gender therapy and even go as for as chemical castration.

There is a reason why we do not allow children to make adult decisions, and why there is a sexual age of consent or a drinking age, not to mention there being an specific age when children are allowed to drive, or even vote. The reason is because they are children, but somehow how when making a choice about whether they want to a boy or a girl and then have surgery to change their genitalia is somehow completely acceptable? I know I'm not they only one thinking this is way past madness, and if you have to tell someone this 20 years ago they would be laughing at this, but this is absolute reality today. If this is where we are today, I actually can't imagine where we will be in the next five years if we don'y put an end to this insanity.
