What Day Is It?

It really seems like the day are now blending into each other, also this is now the longest I've ever been stuck at home, or was that two days ago.

The current rate of the China Virus or COVID-19 infection has not seemed to increase, and has stayed pretty much the same numbers, of between 50-80 people per day, which is a good thing. Unfortunately there has been 5 deaths due to the virus, and a very worrying factor is that there has been one or two infection occurring in some of the larger townships. This is really not good as both police and the military has been struggling to keep folks under lockdown in these areas. Which means it the virus were to spread here it would have a devastating effect on the most vulnerable.

I'm rather lucky to be able to work from home during the shut down, yet I imagine that the virus is just the tip of the iceberg. The events that have been set in motion because of conora are going to be far worse. Even with banks giving people and businesses a holiday on loads repayments and debt, the elephant in the room is that people will not be able to buy. Food is for now the most essential, and it will be a while before anyone just risks going to a restaurant or spending anything on non-essentials. Unfortunately some businesses are going to be closing after the lockdown, maybe not immediately, but they will have to lay off staff in order to survive, and this will have domino effect, reaching everyone.
