Sexual harassment to BBC journalists
Russian politician and lawmaker Leonid Slatsky has accused a woman of sexual harassment for being a woman journalist. Slatsky's head of the Foreign Relations Committee of Russian Parliament
Complainant Farida Rustamova working in the BBC Russia Service. He is the third journalist, who brought the charges of sexual harassment against Slatsky public.
The charge against Slatsky has been completely politically motivated and it has blown up the Deputy Chief of Dumah. He also threatened to file a defamation suit against the complainant journalist.
Earlier, Russia had never faced such serious allegations of sexual harassment, where such allegations came against the Raghibobals in the US and Western Europe.
