People masturbate differently and for different reasons.
The major reason for self stimulation (masturbation) is due to the serious urge that arise after watching pornography or imagining all sorts after watching pornography.

Another reason is low self esteem.

Masturbation is done by several category of people...
Some people do it because they are been rejected from the opposite sex and some do it because of the urge...
Some do it to feel relaxed and some just want to know how their body works...
Masturbation is not a bad thing to do, it's not bad for your health if it's done with discretion, because it's the safest sex to have.

Let me tell you a quick and true life story.

I heard of a 14-year-old boy masturbating. It amazed me and it was a shock for the parents.

The mother found out first, she cried, almost killed herself.

The boy is said to be an introvert and has a few friends, so it surprised the mother how he got to know all that, because he did it with great passion and high urge, skillfully.

A fourteen year old boy? Ah!

What will you do if he was to be your son?

He was going crazy.

He rubbed his penis on the wall severally, he even had beside him a bottle of liquid wash his mother had been looking for. His mom could not bear it any more, after watching him do all this for minutes... He didn't stop, he kept doing it.

She called his name but he didn't hear; he was so carried away, that was the best feeling he could get as far as he is concerned. She had to scream his name again with anger, she was almost tearful but had to control her feel.

This boy almost collapse; he didn't know his mom would be home early that day.

The mother decided to be calm, but she was not happy, she felt like the worst mother on planet earth, despite the fact that she was giving the best care that she can.

The issue seems more like something she can't handle on her own, so she had to call his dad, and made him hurry home immediately.

The parents didn't enjoy their sleep that night, they decided to sleep on the issue, the deliberated on what could possibly be done.

It was the longest night of their life.

They are Godly parents. They believe they trained their children very well.

But is the training enough? Just like everyone will say.

"What did we do wrong?" They said.

This parent are the type that creates time out of no time for their kids, they counsel them all the time against social vices, about things to do and things not to do.

In fact they refused to buy their kids phone until they finish attaining highschool certificate.

So it baffled them how their son that just got promoted to SS1 knew how to masturbate.

His (Siblings)elder sisters were exemplary children.

At this junction, the wife begged her husband to handle the matter with high level of discretion instead of being harsh and violent with the boy.

They decided to be cautious.

So the next morning, the parent went to their son's room. He was looking sheepish.

He already knew why they were there, but he wasn't scared and determined not to lie about anything.

After praying with him, they asked him how he knew about masturbation.

Guess what his answer was?

He said he watched pornographic movies on their phones.

They were both shocked.

They father flew into rage mode, almost slapped the boy despite he promised the wife not to hurt him, she was able to calm him again though.

So they continue with the interrogation, the mother asked how he managed to do that since they don't have pornographic movies on their phones, not even Hollywood/Bollywood movies let alone pornography.

What I'm about to say equally shock me when I heard it.

The boy gave a nervous smile and said he watched it online through the browser on their phones. He usually take the phone with him to the bathroom to watch it to avoid them and his little brothers and he had been doing this for three years.

You can imagine... A fourteen years old boy, you know what that means?

The parent became dumbfounded.

The mother said to her self with a shaky voice and terrible face;
"No wonder, he disappeared all the time. I remember certain times we would be looking for our phones. So it was all our fault that we didn't buy him a phone, yet we gave him unlimited access to our phones."

She couldn't bear it anymore so she left the room in tears.

The father is a doctor, he claim to examine their son's penis and he noticed the veins are already weak due to constant mishandling.

The boy confessed that he was already addicted to masturbation.

What's the next thing to do?

They decided to take him through counseling and prayers to help him stop, I hope he does.

Because an issue like this is greater than we think it is... He started this thing at an early stage, what if nobody caught him, he'll continue and end up destroying himself.

Yes, we may say masturbation means no threat to the body, but is this boy not too small to be addicted to it?

The parent may claim to talk him through this, counsel and motivate him, guide and direct him.

What if he doesn't stop? What if he promised not to, and he later feels the urge to, when they are not there...

After all, he has his own room.

You think not buying phone for your children and given them unlimited access to your phone will help..

I don't think so......
Think of a better way.

Your kids need to know the truth. If you hide it from them, they'll discover it somehow and hide it from you...

That's even worse because you may never get to know until it's too late.

The children of nowadays are far more intelligent than we can ever imagine...

You can imagine a baby of six/seven month clapping already, telling her mom bye bye...

Please set boundaries on your phones and restrict them from it if you're not there, let them respect your phones as much as they respect you. Use locks if necessary.

Dear parents, be cautious and observant observant, and always talk to your kids, try to learn when they are lie, and why they lie...

Observe their mood and reason for everything while you still can, ask questions...
Kids learn almost everything they know through questions, then they use their instincts to judge the rest, especially when they cannot ask, so use the same trick on them and be friendly.
