Fourteen36

You know it was fun and I loved the whole thing.... Though I bacame very hungry after breaking my fast... But somehow I was able to conquer that....

I work for RADIOXITY as an animator/Graphic designer...

Yesterday was another very great day... We went to capture/film an architectural event yesterday at Fourteen36... The name sounds weird right???

Yesterday was my first day if going there and it was also my first time of attending the show...

Should I say it went well?

I think I should, because it did, except for the hunger that nearly tore off my tummy....

I've always liked photography and cinematography but I never thought I can ever be opportune to learn it.... Because I'm engaged with a lot of things already...

Never stop learning...

That's has been my key word, and for the past few years, I've been able to achieve so many things in the cause if learning ...

Back to the matter....

Remember I'm a Muslim... Oh you probably may not know before... Now I'm telling you.... 'I am a Muslim'

And this period, we fast for 30days with full abstinence to anything since and food...

I was fasting.... So that kind of made the occasion a bit boring and tiring...

Akile which is popularly know as @lovelens on Steemit is our Head cinematographer here in RADIOXITY media.. .

He was in charge of the camera yesterday.... I watched him do the settings and it suddenly occur to me that, "O boy this is your opportunity..., You can do this, even better"

So I didn't just watch him do the thing I joined him in the setting up of the camera and light and I was able to grab some things.... Immediately I told him I'm interested in videography and everything that concerns the camera.... He promised to send teach me how the art works but not in an occasion....

So I stayed around him and watched every button he clicked on... How he tuned the colour temperature, how he got his focus by zooming in and out and how he professionally controlled the camera like a wheel....

Yesterday I got to realise that a camera is just like a car... Don't let it drive you.... You should drive it.... Know when to slow down and know when to speed... There are so many gallops on the road, so know how to manage the road.... The stage is the road, so know how to manage it.... You should put on your full light when the whether goes dark and reduce it when the whether brightens up again....

Camera work takes discretion.... He didn't teach me anything though... But I figured out a lot if things by myself... Just by observing his every move...

All our other staff went to sit with the audience, including our boss which is popularly known on Steemit as @starkemmy.... She was trying to make a drive video so she had to settle down somewhere to do that.... I was the only one that stood with Akile all through the shooting....

I kept observing the time and whether to see if it was time to break my fast, because my stomach hurts so bad.... When my Lade messaged me that it was time I couldn't go out immediately to at least get water because there was a very special speech going on at the moment...
But after some minutes I went to get a table water and expensive biscuit.... All the things they sell there is very expensive but I had no choice I had to break....

After that I was ready to assist Akile....

We stood for hours... And we had a nice full shot....

The fun part

Hmmmmm.... The fun part of the occasion was that... There was a lot of snacks and drinks for everyone to serve themselves....

First if all I took just one burger and one fruit juice.... While I was eating I saw people taking more than one....

Some even took three different snack...

My co workers too took varieties...

I knew one burger was not enough for me... But I was being a gentle man... All of a sudden I just remembered some of our workers did not come along, so I stood up and pick two salvetpaper, and loaded it with snack.... I'm not specifically shy except I want to be... I went back and took more drink so we had enough to eat and drink...

I ate and drank two fruit juice because I know they may be nothing to eat when I get back to the studio....

After eating they 9H Architectural program was concluded.... And we packed .... I felt so sleepy afterwards but still happy it was a success too...

No mistake, nothing.. it all went well... And my tummy was well filled that I didn't bother for food anymore.... In fact right now, there's nothing to eat for the day's fast but I drank just water since I still feel full....
