It's sooo true and I really love this poem. My dad left my Mum and I long time ago and she's always been there for me no matter how stubborn I am, no matter the mistakes I do. It went to a point that she protects me from relatives that question her how she could put up with me. I asked her that too, and she said "We only have each other, we need to be there for one another" and it broke me. I dropped a lot of things I've been doing and decided to get it together, for my mum.
