The city is Bucharest, Romania.

I like the old center. A place where many of the buildings built at the beginning of the twentieth century have survived. There are even older buildings, from the nineteenth century.

The boulevard called "Calea Victoriei" is my favorite. I think it's the most beautiful in town. Almost all the buildings that line the boulevard are historic buildings and only a few are modern, built after 2000. The contrast between old and new, the difference between architectural styles makes the place unique.

Here are two bank offices. Over a hundred years old, the building is inspired by French architecture. Paris was a model for Bucharest. In the interwar period, Bucharest was called Little Paris.

The new building was built twenty years ago. Concrete and glass.

Calea Victoriei, here we reach the two banks. The old boulevard preferred by the inhabitants of the city. Here are the most elegant shops but also the famous Old Center, the most sought after place for fun, preferred by young people and tourists.

This was a short walk through the center of Bucharest, the capital of Romania.
