Hello everyone!
It has been a blissful week so far , Atlas it's weekend. I woke up early at 5:00am to acknowledge my Creator and giver of life, God almighty. Did devotions with my family and forget ahead to get laundry done.

Thinking about what my family would love to have for lunch today, I had to prepare a traditional meal. Talking about meals I can prepare even in my sleep; fufu corn and huckleberry locally known as "Njama Njama" . This is a north west Region meal prepared by almost majority of the villages found in this region. It is a staple meal and I was raised to prepare it so well. Like seriously,if you could visit kedjom Ketingoh where I come from this very minute, be rest assured that out of five houses you visit ,you will be amazed to eat hot and fresh fufu corn and Njama Njama.
Oh yes! Believe me it is a daily meal where I come from; traditional known as "Kiban and basi " and this is no hyperbole. Fufu corn is made from fine ground corn. Njama Njama is simply huckleberry stewed in tomatoes and onions. Here is huckleberry during the plucking of leaves ,

This is when you pluck out only the green and soft stems, throwing the yellow leaves and other green grasses. Immediately am done plucking, I used clean water to wash and boil. mixed ground egussi into a paste and poured on the huckleberry for it to cook for bout 10minutes, I drain and chopped the other ingredients which is tomatoes and onions which gave me the aroma I wanted.

Here, I put a small quantity of palm oil into the pot and added the chopped tomatoes and onions into it accompanied by seasoning cubes. Stirred and allowed the tomatoes to cook for some few minutes until they are completely crushed and sticky to the pot.

The soup is ready

Moved straight to the preparation of fufu corn,

Poured about 7cups of water into the pot and took out 4 cups after boiling and kept aside.
Mixed 1cup of corn flour in cold water and poured into the still boiling water in the pot and stirred immediately to form a running base.
Added in the rest of the flour and stirred to get a thick lump. Poured in the reserved of the removed boiled water and covered the pot to boil for 7minutes, stirred vigorously making sure the thick lump is completely dissolved to form a thick scope.

Atlas! I ate , took a walk around around to check out my garden , read a book about successful thinking strategies by Richard W Paul and Linda Elder. They revealed the heart of skills of effective thinking, helping me analyse my whole thoughts processes, identifying my weaknesses and looking forward to overcoming them.
Later this evening I bathed the kids dressed them up ready for bed.I had to read a story of the Rabbit and the carrots by Cornerstone to my handsome boys to go to sleep.
Since am still a newbie here in steem, I had to read more on achievement 2 and asked numerous questions to my mentor
#fombae. Today ended well as am about to rest now.
