A Cat can reduce anxiety

Having a cat as a pet can reduce stress and anxiety, and in turn have a lot of other health benefits.

It has been proven that cats reduce humans stress and anxiety. I greatly agree with this. Cats are cute to look at. They sleep a lot, and just watching how relaxed your cat is laying there sleeping, will help you to relax. If they purr, it will relax you even more.

It is fun to watch them play, and they will definitely make you laugh. Laughter is a good medicine itself, some even say, "Laughter is the best medicine".

Your cat will keep you from feeling lonely. Cats love to snuggle and just hang around wherever you are. They will even share your lunch with you if you like!

Lastly, cats are super easy to take care of. Give them some food and water and a place to go to the bathroom, and they are good to go. You can even leave a cat home alone for several days, and they will be just fine. It is a lot easier to take care of a cat than most other pets.

Because your stress and anxiety levels will be less, your whole health will improve. Blood pressure, headaches, weight loss, basically everything is improved with reduced stress.
