DIVINE LOVE AT FIRST SITE

LOVE, that draws the Lord, the Beloved, to the bosom of the devotee, is no ordinary love. It can not be cultivated or nurtured or communicated or betrothed. It just sprouts like a lightning flash, consumes the lover and leaves him/her in a state of ineffable ecstasy and unconsciousness. the shafts of love, though apparently velvety, hit the target, the heart of the lover, who writhes in pain ,pines and laments for vision of the beloved .His heart burns with fire of separation, yet feels solace in that burning, for which , it cries out.

The emotion of love, that enraptures one for a while and passes away the next moment , can not be called Love. The emotion, that ever remains kindled and enshrined in the being all the time, is pure love.

"Those ,who are steeply mad in love of the lord, would appear to utter incoherent words, sometimes laugh on their own, at another, tears flow from their eyes. Such devotees madly in love, are oblivious of the rituals and decorum of life. Let everyone laugh at them, they are not; as they are drowned in Divine Bliss of love with their Beloved."

Our inner consciousness, like a maiden in love,begs to the lord,"Listen  to me, O my Beloved, meet me soon, otherwise, the life will out of this body".

The ways of love are so wonderful . sometimes, the devotees and the lovers themselves do not know how exactly , the shaft of love hits them. Suddenly they sink into such a state that they have no desire to eat , drink or sleep. Only one thought flows through their minds, which turns their backs to everything and that is: They should become one with the lord.

The Love is blind. It knows no logic, no reason it just wants to serve its beloved. This very thought gives him comfort . He writhes in pain when he thinks of the beloved suffering. He cares not whether he will achieve anything from his adventure or whether he will reach the destination ?
