INTRODUCEYOURSELF - Part 2 [ITA/ENG]

Due settimane fa ho pubblicato il mio post di presentazione, in cui nell’introduzione ho cercato di descrivere le varie problematiche trovate nel comporre il documento. Infatti questo elaborato è stato creato prima dell’ “INTRODUCEYOURSELF”, ma per dovere di cronaca viene proposto solo successivamente.
Come me, penso anche molti altri abbiano trovato varie difficoltà riguardanti cosa scrivere e come farlo per presentare loro stessi al pubblico di Steemit. Dal mio punto di vista su questa piattaforma ognuno “promuove” il proprio prodotto, se stesso, cercando di raccogliere maggiore consenso dalla maggior parte di lettori.
In pratica quindi l’INTRODUCEYOURSELF non è altro che un colloquio di lavoro e come nella vita reale la prima impressione la puoi dare solo una volta; quindi l’obiettivo è quello di fare subito una bella impressione su una piattaforma in cui il rischio maggiore è quello di passare inosservati.
Diversamente però dalla vita reale, in cui molte sono le variabili che possono fare la differenza in positivo od in negativo, su Steemit è solo il “cosa” ed il “come” scrivi il tuo post che possono attrarre il pubblico. E qui nasce la domanda:

ESSERE SE STESSI o ESSERE CIO’ CHE GLI ALTRI DESIDERANO?

(Ricorda molto la celebre frase di Amleto)
Per chiarire meglio: nel post di introduzione, consciamente o inconsciamente, ci troviamo di fronte ad un bivio: descrivere se stessi per quello che siamo realmente, attraendo così, forse, meno pubblico, ma con la consapevolezza che chi sia interessato a leggere i nostri post lo faccia apprezzando quello che siamo realmente; oppure descriverci per quello che gli altri cercano e quindi beneficiando di un pubblico più ampio.
Si tratta di due strade completamente diverse: l’essere se stessi paga sempre e risulterà sempre più facile e meno faticoso da descrivere, ma al contempo i guadagni saranno più sudati, ma caratterizzati da una soddisfazione personale maggiore; invece dall’altro lato, come dice un celebre aforisma di Marilyn Monroe, “Voler essere qualcun altro è uno spreco della persona che sei”: la fatica nel proporre quello che non si sente proprio si ripercuote sulle pubblicazioni e con il passare del tempo il lettore lo percepisce, lasciando l’autore a se stesso.

Anche io personalmente, al momento di scrivere il mio primo articolo ho riflettuto sull’aspetto di voler “sembrare più piacevole”, ma alla fine ho scelto di mostrare quello che sono con tutti i suoi pro e contro e fiero di essere, seppur nel mio piccolo, me stesso.

REFLECTIVE THOUGHTS

I posted my presentation two weeks ago and I tried to describe the various problems found in the introduction while I was writing the document. Indeed this elaborate was created before "INTRODUCEYOURSELF", but obviously it is posted after that.
I think a lot of other authors (like me) have found several difficulties concerning what and how to write their presentation for Steemit's audience. From my point of view all the creators have and want to "promotes" their product here, looking for greater interest on the part of readers as possible.
Therefore INTRODUCEYOURSELF is something like a job interview and like in real life the possibility of giving a good first impression is only once; so the goal is to give immediately a good impression on Steemit, where the biggest risk is to be unnoticed.
There are some differences from real life, where there are many variables that make the interview positive or negative; in Steemit just “WHAT your post deals with” and “HOW your post is written” are the variabilities that can attract the public. And so now the question is:

TO BE MYSELF OR TO BE WHAT THE OTHER WANT?

(It sounds like Hamlet’ famous sentence)

In the introduction post, with or without awareness, the writer has two possible solutions: he can write and describe just what he is and being aware to attract, perhaps, less public or he can describe himself for what others are looking for and thus benefiting of a wider audience.
These are two completely different paths: be what we are and it will always be easier and less tiring, and at the same time earning will be less tiring too, but characterized by a greater personal satisfaction; on the other hand, as the famous aphorism by Marilyn Monroe says, "*Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are *": the effort in trying what you do not feel really affects the post and with the passage of time the reader perceives, leaving the author to himself.
I also considered this point of view : "look more pleasant", but finally I chose to be myself with all positive and negative elements and to be, even in my own little way, myself.
