My One and Only Comic-Con Experience

I'm Such a Nerd!!

I have been a nerd, a geek, since I was old enough to read. I would like to share with you my incredible experience at the Louisiana Comic Con: Lafayette which was held at the Cajundome Convention Center, in Lafayette Louisiana.

Being such a huge fan of all things horror, of course that's what I gravitated toward.

The horror was everywhere and I was in heaven!!

My eyeballs were about to pop out of my head...there were so many horrifically cool things to look at!

It wasn't all horror, there was some beauty to behold.

I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed going to my first comic con. The costumes were perfect and there were even celebrities there, and if you paid a fee, you could get an autograph and a picture with them.

My experience at this comic con, which was probably a little smaller and more intimate than most, was one of the best I've had so far. Being a nerd in school wasn't easy, but we sure have come a long way in that regard. This was truly a nerd's dream and I can not wait to do it again!

My next convention will be a horror con in Atlanta, GA. I will be like a little kid on a shopping spree in a candy store!!
