Cute Twin Babies
I'm awake at stupid o'clock thanks to a severe hayfever attack and a twin that wouldn't go back to sleep. So I made myself tea and peanut butter bread, shoved tissue up my nose (I really look sexy af) after I got fed up of sneezing and blowing, and was looking through the gallery on my phone...which led me to this post because as a totally unbiased mother 😉 I just had to share some of the gorgeous pics of when my twins were born.
They were monoamniotic (shared a sack) and were born at 34 weeks 3 days weighing 2kg and 2.1kg...it makes me so teary to see how grown up they already are at six months in comparison to those teeny tiny little humans we felt were so fragile. Spending weeks in NICU trying to teach them to breath and feed, crying many tears of worry and frustration, but ultimately in awe of the fact that I could grow such perfect little beings...me...messy, uncoordinated, irresponsible me who has never really achieved much or reached my potential, somehow found my "perfect" in two beautiful, happy little girls.
And here's them now at nearly six months old:

They afe beautifully perfect! Do they have a very strong bond? Our son was adopted at 4 months and we were told he was one of a twin, the other twin was still born. Thats all we know. He often walks around like he is lost and I sometimes wonder if he is looking for his "other half". Breaks my heart.
