Afternoon Among The Trees
Good morning, Steemians!
I took the afternoon off yesterday and went to one of my favorite places in the world and threw a round of disc. If you are unfamiliar with the game of disc golf, it's sort of like frisbee with a goal. The object of the game is to get your disc into the basket in as few throws as possible. I have denied myself the pleasure of walking among the trees and throwing all summer, but yesterday was an especially funky day so I had to get out of the house. I have spent the better part of the summer sitting on the living room floor, banging away at the keyboard trying to get two books written and illustrated. I finished the second book, and then the funk settled in. What now? Throw.

This was the first time I had played all summer. I used to play every day. It takes an hour to throw 18 holes. We all deserve 1 hour a day. ;) Thanks for checking in and for reading my stuff!
